journal

Hi Lovelies!

It don’t know how long it’s been… probably like a week, but it feels like ages since I last logged into my blog because I’ve been super busy.

Anyway. today’s post is one about journaling and my experience of writing a diary, so lets go!

I have been writing a diaries a lot of my life, I have a few from when I was about 7 and another load from when I was about 9 but I also did the occasional diary in between those ages. Before I was 11, though, I only wrote about a maximum of 2 weeks then dumped that diary somewhere, so therefore I have lots of unfinished diaries around my room! When I was 11 I started writing a proper diary… and now I’m onto my third book because I’ve already filled up two!

The first diary I completed took me almost exactly a year to finish (from August 2015 to August 2016) and to be honest it was actually one of my greatest achievements! It was quite a big diary with a front cover saying ‘It’s what’s inside that counts’ surrounded by flowers. At first I didn’t intend for it to be a diary, just a book for doodles but I guess it progressed into a quick comment on what I did that day to a journal where I could write whatever was on my mind. So, yeah, it basically became my diary that I’d take everywhere with me, it would be my escape and just somewhere to express myself.

A year later, once I’d filled that one up I had to do one of my favourite things… journal shopping!! It was actually surprisingly hard to find a perfect diary which lived up to my expectations, I wasted too much money on dairies which I just discarded because they didn’t feel right. Until one day I was actually book shopping when I saw this amazing notepad. It had old cameras on the front and was just the right size so I decided that instead of spending like 10 pounds on a book, I’d spend it all on my new diary! This was then my new journal and it lasted from the end of September up until about a week ago. I think I will always remeber this journal as being the journal where I did actually truely express myself and didn’t hold anything back, I didn’t need to be scared that someone would judge me because, well, I didn’t intend for anyone to read it’s content.

And finally I’m on my third diary which I’ve only written a couple of pages in but I’m thoroughly enjoying it, I’m trying to make this diary a bit neater and more appealing and colourful!

So, this post has kinda got a bit too long so I’m going to make a part 2 about why I love journaling ect.

Thanks for reading!

Changing my username??

Hi Lovelies!

Soooo…

I’d first like to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH for 95 followers!!!!! Come on guys, lets get it to 100!!!

I have been thinking and I’ve realized that my username or whatever you call it doesn’t really suit my account, this account was going to be mainly for photography but I’ve decided that I like writing too much and I don’t normally have very much time for photography anymore which is annoying.

I also want to change it for anonymity reasons and if you’ve been a follower for a while you’ll know what I mean 😉

The only problem is I have no idea what to change it to or anything?!

So, I’d love it if you could comment suggestions please and I’ll choose my favourite 🙂

Thank you for everything.

Awkwardness

Hey Lovelies!

After all my many deep posts I thought I’d do a funny and pretty cringey post!

following on from my previous post, I have decided to tell you some rather awkward and embarrassing things I do.

  1. First of all I have a tendency to read out signs or adverts or anything out and about with lettering on. This is all fine if you’re just with a friend in a busy shop or just walking along the street and talking in a  normal volume but then it gets to a point where you just want the ground to swallow you up… Like yesterday when I was innocently on a silent train with my friend and in a slightly louder than normal voice I read out a sign about yoghurt… and the catchphrase I read out was ‘oooh it’s so soft!’. Yeah… the whole train looked at me and I had to burry my face in my book.
  2. Another thing I do, and probably quite a few people do is run away from awkward situations. This seems normal until you run away and hide behind a see through object, a thin tree or a car with see through windows (read an embarrassment waiting to happen) Most of the time people look at me like I’m crazy, which to be fair is understandable.
  3. I’ve also throw food or water on people before, not on purpose but somehow accidentally?! I know, you’re probably wandering how I actually do that but it has happened… twice. One time I was at school and my friend was ignoring me, I plucked up the courage to ask her where she had been at lunch and instead of asking calmly like a normal person would I said ‘where have you been’ and pointed at her with my water bottle which, knowing my luck, was slightly open, therefore causing her to be drenched in water!! Another time me and my friend were pretending to be unicorns with our ice creams (I know so childish!) by putting them almost on our foreheads but not touching. Unfortunately someone bumped into be just at the time I was touching the ice cream cone. Long story short I fell into the girls cone and it got squished all over her face and she didn’t talk to me for like a week!!!

Those are just 3 of the hilarious and quite embarrassing things that happen to me on probably a weekly basis!

Hope you enjoyed 🙂

inspired

Hi Lovelies!

so, recently I have been very much inspired by my grandma. She suffers from a sever form of dementia which is an illness that shows no physical pain but causes you to lose your memory and as well as this she had heart problems and recently things have been getting a lot worse. About a week ago she was taken into hospital after fainting, which can be dangerous with dementia. Once she was in hospital so would not eat or drink practically anything so this was all pretty scary for me and my family but fortunately she is back home now and after a lot of thinking and chats I’ve realized that to be honest my grandma is a pretty inspiring person.

For the past 5 years she has been struggling with memory loss which is slowly worsening and worsening, so much so she now cannot remember simple words, her friends and families names or objects around her and although, luckily, she feels no pain she is still awear, just about, that she cannot remember as much as the normal human. Despite all of this she is constantly smiling and laughing, enjoying and living life to the best of her ability. She loves singing and dancing and to be honest I am pretty surprised by her amazingly positive outlook on everything despite the circumstances. She is always reminding me to stay happy and ‘cheeky’ and ‘silly’ which I am safe to say I am truly inspired by.

Another way I am inspired by my grandma is how passionate about the things she loves; whether that’s a person or a hobby she always takes time and effort on it. Definitely her favourite hobby is art. She is forever drawing and colouring and it is great that through all this madness of her her life she has a little escape, like mine is photography, hers is drawing. Slowly her artwork is becoming, well, stranger, i guess. She used to be an amazing artist and the only memory I have of her and me when she didn’t have dementia is when she sat with me for hours perfecting this tree drawing I did when I was about 6, to this day I still have that drawing somewhere but now her drawings are a bit too imaginative if that’s possible and kind of unusual but even so she has probably done over 100 drawings in the past couple of years. She also always tells me to basically follow my dreams, in her own words.

Although I is a very sad time for me and my family watching my grandma getting worse and forgetting everything I think each and everyone one of us has learnt something from her and been inspired by her positivity and imagination.

Thank you for reading,

half term

Hello Lovelies!

Thank you for all your great suggestions on my last post and as I’m going to a friends house who also loves creative writing today we’re going to do some story brainstorming for new books we’re going to write which will be fun and I’ll report back here onto my blog for an update! I’m thinking of doing a creative writing series where I start off just telling you guys my ideas and as I think of ideas I’ll keep you guys updated and it will lead up to the finished story, what do you all think?

Also thank you so much for 80 followers!! Omg I’m so so so so so grateful for each and every one of you and aaaggghhhh!!! I can’t get over that I have 80 whole people following my account, like it’s just like me standing in a room with 80 people and talking to them about my problems?! Ok, I don’t exactly know what I’m talking about now so let’s continue with the post.

I am super glad that it’s now half term. I don’t think I would have been able to survive another whole entire day at school! I was struggling loads yesterday so I don’t know what I would have been like today if Friday wasn’t an inset day! It’s so relieving that I don’t have to face lots of people who hate me for a whole week 🙂 Ah freedom!

As I mentioned earlier I’m going to my friends house all day with no adults or anything bothering us so it’s just me and her free to talk about whatever we like and do whatever we like… apart from not burning the house down! We are going to do a bit of creative writing and play on her wii and tones of other exciting things… for some reason I’m so excited and I know it seems just like wow I’m visiting a friends house but I haven’t done it in a while and I haven’t spent a whole day just me and a friend since forever, yay.

Okay, thank you for reading.

Have a great half term (if you’re off already)

winter

Hey Lovelies!

Even though it’s not really spring yet, here in England it is looking a lot less frosty and it’s a lot warmer so I thought I may as well do a kind of review thingy of winter 2016/17.

As I was writing the introduction I realized that this winter has been a pretty terrible one with anxiety and a very disappointing friendship problem which is still loosing me a lot of sleep and I honestly cannot wait for spring to come!

The only thing I’ve been happy with this winter is how much my photography has improved so I’ve decided instead of writing another long depressing post I’m going to show you my top 10 winter pics I’ve taken…

my new hobby

Hi Lovelies!

I’ve just released, through someone I know through school who had a conversation about my blog with me, that. No. this blog is not anonymous anymore. Even though literally no one from school has read any of my posts or anything a couple have so i’ve had a wave of anxiety over that and it’s scary know that I’ve only been blogging for a little while and something has to go wrong. Something always goes wrong whenever I have something positive in my life.

Okayyyyy…

moving on 🙂

I am going to show you a new hobby of mine which I got into recently when I was ‘ill’ according to my mum who still doesn’t properly know I have anxiety but in reality it was quite obviously anxiety so I spent a lot of time lying in bed.

I’m not amazing at this hobby of mine because I’m new to it and to be honest it’s not really a proper hobby like someone would say ‘oh my hobby is swimming!’ or something but anyway. My new hobby is drawing quotes and I know it sounds kinda weird but here are some of the quotes I’ve written out so far;
